Goat Island Light
Location: Cape Porpoise, ME
Date Captured: 9/19/23 at 7:10am
Description: I made a last-minute decision to visit Cape Porpoise again to explore more of the areas around the Fish House. As I made my way around the front side of the building, I stumbled upon a little white boat, seemingly abandoned in the grass. I was experimenting with new compositions that included the boat when I finally found a shot that resonated deeply with me. Goat Island Lighthouse, situated on a small island just a little offshore, was peeking its light just above the trees in the distance. The morning sunlight cast a golden glow across the landscape. The image looks like it could be a painting and that is what I love about it; also to the fact it has a lighthouse in it.
ISO100 - 92mm - f/11 - 1/20s
Printing Mediums:
Traditional Prints - Luster
Metal, Canvas and Fine Art Printing available upon request.
